below

Monarcy post was a bit of sarcasm ( for those who could'nt tell)

Viking Rule!!!

I have come to the conclusion that I would be most happy in a monarchy! I have decided to change my political affliations to Monarch, and will now be running for the Royal Ruler of the United States. I have done this for several reasons; A) When being a monarch I would have the authority to make the changes necessary to put my beloved nation on the right track, B) It would ensure that my rule would echo across the ages ( I will do what the 5 great emporers of Rome did and adopt my most favored and wise associate to be my son). C) I think it would be a crazy time ( I mean I'll have a mandate from heaven, nobody could argue with me cause I would fall back on the "Well God told me it was cool" line.) D) Mostly Id want to do it because I would have totalitarian power without the obtrusive name. Whos with me?? Supporters will immediatly gain duke and baron titles, and will be able to ensure their lordships!! Also I would be like the Viking King Herald Haadrad because I would never hide behind my troops!

Purify my Viking soul.

The beach purifys the soul, Surfing yesturday just make me feel even better about living out here instead of back east where my brother is. I look outside my room and dont see one cloud. I am now going to go out on a date and then probably go get some really cheap but great mexican food. The life of a modern viking is good! Not only is it good here but I will be enjoying my summer in D.C. with my brother (only for a few weeks), and then to South Africa. Traveling also purifys the soul, and makes any statement that I make much more legitimate.

Politics: The Realm of the Modern Barbarians

Reading the New York Times Magazine today and found a funny quote which is interestingly true in my mind. "The Democraric Party is the party of a collection of special interests." - Congressman Christopher Shays. " It's not as if the Republican are impervious to special interest. What about the oul companies?"- Reporter " Yeah, but we don't add up out special interests and then have them define us. When we vote the way some employers want us to vote, that's the way we feel. It's a part of what we believe in."- Congressman Shays. I found this funny and true. Of course there are those of you who would pull a random statement out of a hat to go against this statement. But I find those arguments to be circumstancial and relatively procurred from one or two individuals and not the group. Progressive Conservatism seems to be the best way to go, I find that because it is still improving our society but doing at a slower pace in order for new Ideas to be incorperated into our society freely and not forced upon those who do not wish them. Democrats are too weak as far as I am concerned and will bow down to any special interest or foriegn opinion that comes their way. As well as them subscribing to any new muck-raking ideal that comes around, especially when there is little evidence that supports it. I also dont like how they are the party of the super minority willing to fight for those who are generally the scum of society. Also it seems that they have become anti-religious in some sense and have taken to the ideal that the seperation of church and state should be enforced in extreme, and at the expense of our national tradition (I have a hard time understanding that an individual praying in school should be illegal and that saying the word God is going to bring our society crumbling down)(if you dont like it then dont say it but dont punish those who do). Republicans are too slow and are too devoted to uber conservative Ideals which are not practical for these times. That is why I like my beliefs which is the thought that we should implement new programs and ideals into our society as long as they are well researched and have been proven to be effective and needed. And only if it will benefit all and not super minorites at the expense of the majority.. "If it isnt broken dont fix it"

Raiding Technology

Being a neo viking has allowed me to experience new technologies which my predessors did not possess. I have exploited the tool you shrubs (non viking folk) call a "computer" especially the "photoshop" application. In doing so you may see the fruits of me labor, the wall paper, and write about how great it is. Or else!! It is an interesting thing these computers, I am wondering how these devices will evolve, completely wireless computers? computer implants into humans? development of AI in order to take on the menial tasks of human, which will one day bring about the end of human kind? who knows...

Stippers, the plunderers of the plunderers?

While on a break from pillaging, I found that I was very bored so I and two of my friend's (I'll leave their names out for security concerns) went to the strip club taboo. It was alright, we didnt have much fun since we were all broke. I did have a pleasant chat with a stipper though. Last night though my friends went back and my buddy spent $600.00 Im not sure if that is good or bad. Should I have gone last night or not have. These are the questions I am thinking now...

The New and Improved Viking

Dark are these days of now; I, having found out that the middle ages were much more fun, have decided to go back to the old old days and live my life in the honorable and dignified way of the barbarian. Friends, Countryman, and Those who are willing to be permanent Indentured Servants may join me on this Journey! The Journey of the Incredible Escapades of the New Age Viking!!!!!
